We have been keeping computers working in Leeds since 2004. Leeds IT Services Ltd continues the IT support service previously delivered under the Data-Systems name, looking after local firms and households who wanted someone they could actually ring. The team has supported customers across Leeds since 2004. Leeds IT Services Ltd was incorporated in December 2024 and is the company you contract with today.
What we believe about IT support
Three things, and they shape how we work.
- Explain it, do not hide behind it
- You should understand what went wrong and what we did. If an explanation needs jargon, the explanation is not finished.
- Fix the cause, not just the symptom
- Rebooting clears a lot of problems and teaches you nothing. Where a fault has a root cause worth addressing, we address it.
- Say when something is not worth doing
- Sometimes the honest advice is to replace rather than repair, or to buy nothing at all. You get that answer even when it costs us the work.
Where we work
Our office is on Headingley Lane, and we cover Leeds and the surrounding parts of West Yorkshire: Headingley, Hyde Park, Horsforth, Chapel Allerton, Roundhay, Meanwood, Pudsey, Morley, Otley, Wetherby and Garforth among others. Remote help reaches anywhere in the UK.
Who we are a good fit for
Small and medium businesses in Leeds without a full-time IT person, and home users who want a real human rather than a call centre script. If you have an internal IT team already, we are more useful as an extra pair of hands on specific work than as a replacement.
Equally, if you need a 24-hour service desk with guaranteed contractual response times overnight, a larger managed provider will serve you better than we will. We would rather point you there than promise something we do not offer.
